TOP 10 MUST-TRY IN KRABI

The province of Krabi in Thailand is one of the best travel tourist destination in South East Asia. Now with its own airport with international flights available, this summer haven with spectacular coastline is the best getaway paradise spot you should consider on your future travel plan. So let me share with you my Top 10 must try in Krabi Thailand this year 2015.

Ao Nang Beach
Welcome to the tranquil and extraordinary world of Ao Nang Beach. Just simply look at the soaring limestone cliffs, viewpoints, fine sand & that majestic sunset right before your eyes! This is the very picture of tropical paradise that offers lazy days, adventure forays and chilled-out evenings.

Tup Island
Located just 20 minutes by boat from Ao Nang, Tup is a small island covered with majestic beach view and almost entirely encircled by a soft white sand beach. The amazing combination of excellent snorkelling, scenery and soft sand make the island a popular choice with day trippers.

Krabi Hot Spring
If you're looking for therapeutic and soothing thermal spring, Krabi is also blessed with natural hot springs usually located in the heart of small jungle preserve. These "hot tubs" are crafted into smooth rock channelling water usually (35-40 degree Celsius) flowing with natural mineral salts which provide some therapeutic effects to our bodily health. It's worth taking the time to combine all of these wonderful eco-spots in one nature filled day.

Krabi Emerald Pool
With Krabi's natural beauty, one place to include in your must-see spot is the Emerald Pool.  This place has been one of the highlight of my travel in Krabi. When I first saw it on brochure, I taught it was just a usual lagoon or river with its crystal clear water that's so noticeable. Not until I discovered myself this mythical and magical pool that was totally worth the 2 hour drive from Krabi Proper. Before you reach this location, it will take you 15-20 minutes walk from the entrance of the Emerald Pool. You'll pass by covered trees and bamboos scattered all over the place with its majestic clear blue sky and lush greeneries of the area.

Tiger Cave
You might as well try the Tiger Cave for some spiritual and physical travel challenge. Located near the KRabi town area, Wat Tham Sua or Tiger Cave is one of the most famous caves in the area. I was not able to reach the cave located on top of the mountain cliffs as I'm not physically prepared for it. It will take you hundreds of steps to reach it peak so you better be dressed accordingly. Krabi was such an amazing place to unwind if you're looking for vacation spot aside from Phuket and Bangkok.

Pad Thai (Ibis Styles Ao Nang Hotel
What is Thailand without it's infamous Pad Thai? This delish Thai cuisine from Ibis Styles Ao Nang Hotel is a must-try! It's pleasantly funky with fish sauce and a touch sour taste from tamarind - is meant to be eaten as a stand-alone dish for breakfast, lunch and dinner too.

Railay Beach
Located just south of Ao Nang Beach, Railay Beach offers gorgeous white beaches, caves and a lagoon hidden inside the cliffs. All within a walking distance. Although the only access is by sea, Railay Beach is the best spot to visit in Krabi perfect for that sunset experience.

Chicken Island
With more than 200 islands along the coastline of Krabi, the best way to enjoy this paradise will be island hopping. It was named after the strnge rock formation which look like the head and neck of a chicken. There is no accommodation in this island, but this place is excellent for snorkelling opportunities in warm and clear water, rich in coral life.

Thai Street Food
Thai street food is known for its exotic quality, cheaper price but with excellent quality taste. I will never get tired of eating their sticky rice with mango, chicken and sausages on a stick, and those weird insects toasted and fried for your appetite.

Thai Massage
Finally you should never leave Krabi without having that relaxing and soothing Thai massage.  Give your soaring muscles and tired extremities some pampering and every Baht spent is totally worth it!
